Forbidden Power (ascendancy node) wont give power charges, you spend ES instead of mana (Eldritch Battery).
What is your feeling about Devouring Diadem for EB? Can save 5 points in tree then go on the left side of tree through some more efficient nodes than intelligence (Spell Critical Strike Chance nodes or Area of effect maybe?) Thx for that build, i'm enjoying it : | |

Remember you cant proc Assassins mark via hextouch as well.
