Eu players get infinite loading screen when trying to access Asian instances

I have ran WinMTR, to try to figure out where the issue is, apparently it is in a network layer:

i have infinite loading times for most instances, cant even connect to town 8/10 times. Didnt change anything in my setup and never had this since that leaguestart where everyone had it. If somebody finds a solution would be very happy, trying all the troubleshoots rn, nothing so far.

This user just got confimation from Vodafone that they are blocking some Asian/Korean IP's and that's why this is happening. So it is a local ISP issue here !!! Last edited by HanSoloDK on Aug 4, 2021, 5:41:57 AM

My ISP works fine for everything else. Only this game is broken. GGG could just implement proper cross instance trading and not waste my time with selecting pure server hosters. Do you even play this game?

" I do and I can trade just fine with Asian / Korean players and go to their HO without problem. The reason is very simple --> ISP that doesn't block IP's to IBM hosting. And your "feedback" regarding trading has already been answered by Chris several times. If you want AH, you will need to play on "owners" realm in China. Good for you that this is working, but this game is broke for the second largest ISP in germany, which is clearly a country they target with this game, because there is a german flag up right.
If they would offer a car that does not drive on half of the roads do you think i would write the road manufacturer? If yes you are lost. They can chose proper server infrastructure or code the game in a way that works with the infrastucture given. They can also chose to write to the second largest ISP. It is there choice how to fix their bug. So there is no need for you to smart ass here anymore. |
