Need help with exsanguinate damage
I have a weird question. I can't seem to verify it (yet).
I would cast Arcanist brand first, then run away and then click Corrupting Fever (far from enemies) hoping that the rest of spell hits can apply Fever. I can't tell if this works or not. I know I can get the Fever debuff if I cast it first and then cast Brand. Can anyone tell if casting Brand first and then Fever works for the reminder of Brand cast? |

" The skill hitting the enemy is Exsanguinate, not the Arcanist Brand which only triggers Exsanguinate, so any subsequent triggers of Exsanguinate after you activate Corrupting Fever should apply the debuff. I am not entirely sure about the specifics, but based on the wording even abilities that are actually persistent like Orb of Storms should apply it if you activate Corrupting Fever after using Orb of Storms. You can easily try this out with a high level Corrupting Fever with support gems and a low level Orb of Storms without support gems. If the debuff is not applied, enemies will take almost no damage, but if they die, it works. Either way, in your case the hitting skill is activated after Corrupting Fever so it makes no difference. |
