Im using stereo headphones so I dont know if 3D sound is a thing.
Its not important tho. If he is left or right of your position, you can tell by listening.
If you cant tell it means he is above or below you. Unless you are in the very center of the arena its still a good enough indicator because you should be able to see the upper or lower edge of the arena. And if you cant see him, then he has to be on the opposite side and so you still know where he is.

I like Brand build because it's different. I can kite around while the brand kills. It fits my style. I get that physical spell isn't the hottest thing with Brand. Pretty every top brand build is Storm brand. I am not worried about health loss at all.


I've only fought Sirus once in 3rd stage. Yes, I actually didn't know where he is on the screen as the 4 beams are so big and bright. I'll wear headphone next time. So when he says "die", I dodge right away eh? My Golems don't die against him at all. I just don't deal enough damage I think.


So, let's get this straight. Increased Physical Damage on weapons are only for the weapon damage but Increased Physical Damage on jewels can increase both Initial hit and DoT right?

Any good idea on a Physical spell Staff? It seems like the most popular choice these days. You get good blocking chance. The problem is I actually don't know why I would need two 6-links. I really only use one spell. lol

Consider adding corrupting fever. Not too many good supports for it (so a 6 link still might be unnecessary) but it can easily double your DPS and all you have to do is maintain a buff.

If you decide to go wand/shield, the main benefit is the influenced mod on shields that gives life or ES on block. Makes it rare for you to not be at full health when a big hit inevitably gets through.

I tried Corrupting Fever. I am not sure I understand this skill. I see I take a lot of health damage.

Let see if I get this straight. I cast Corrupting Fever on one target. During 6s, if I keep hitting with Exsanguinate, I can get up to 10 stacks of Physical DoT right?

I tried to put Corrupting Blood on brand and it was hurting me too much. I was just recasting CB apparently. lol

Can I make CB an aoe?? Or it's just single target for boss.


If I can get a ring with curse Vulnerability on hit, then I won't need to cast curse. I can just focus on using CB.

I need to go through a list of special mods on Shield/Wand.

Corrupting fever puts a buff on you that lasts 6 seconds, if you spend enough life it refreshes by itself (so if you cast exsanguinate it will refresh). This is why its just considered free supplementary damage.

What it does to the enemy is apply one stack of corrupted blood doing the value stated up to 10 stacks maximum.

You pretty much cast it once at the start of a map and it should stay up for the whole thing, you don't need to spam it that just munches your life.

Holy.. I tried to buy Large Cluster spell damage. It is very rare!!! If I want to have Conjured Wall and Mage Hunter together, I need to pay at least 1 exalted and hard to find 3 notables with those two. Not sure if top players grabbed them or people don't put on sale.

I was hoping to get Conjured Wall + Mage Hunter + Sap Psyche. I ended up getting Conjured Wall + Practiced Caster + Sap Psyche.

Looks like many tried to stack 10% block spell from Conjured Wall and Mage Hunter.


I will try Corrupting Blood tonight. I didn't read the skill description carefully. lol


Brand cluster jewel is also quite expensive. I didn't know Brand is that popular?! I guess there are many Storm brand top builds.

Any other good ways to improve physical damage without using Corrupting Fever? I will use it but right now the health cost is a bit high without spell leech. lol

the health cost is only once you don't need to spam it

I am using Arcanist brand so I am not using enough health to keep refreshing Fever. When I click Fever, I lose over 1000 health atm. I need to get more life leeching later. lol
