If so I will stop playing poe forever. It took me almost 7 years to get what I have now.

They're changing stuff. We don't really know how, exactly. But links are moving from gear to gems. That's going to cause some "loss". No way to avoid it. If you focus on that, you're going to be miserable. If that's really your goal, you don't need games to help. You can be miserable without them.

I thought PoE 2 was it's own thing with it's own server and fresh start. You can't merge your characters and items from PoE to PoE2.
You still get to keep everything you had just the same but in PoE, not 2. Unless I have some really old information. Havn't really kept up to date. |

All existing characters, stash tab contents, etc, will be retained. New characters will have the option of leveling via the old PoE story, or the new PoE2 story. keeping the old campaign rally shits on the freshness of poe 2.
