That is a pretty poor excuse for missing qol features.
I heard from people that use 3rd party tools for that functionality and im pretty sure its illegal by the terms of use still its a feature that GGG should implement.

After rolling 5k alts on an items it becomes a really mindless task and it becomes very easy to screw up because concentration fades away after the first 2k.

Just make it crafting bench feature. Put an item and currency in, select mods you want to get on it and click craft and it just does it for you using best possible methods available.
