Now seriously, this is a very complex game and if you consider everything that you don't understand (which appears to be, well, everything) either bug or imbalanced mechanics, you're gonna have a bad time. For example, triggering another skill while using Cyclone is absolutely normal feature of many builds, done by linking the Cyclone with a spell gem and Cast on Critical or Cast While Channeling support gem.

Start learning before you start bitching next time.

There is a chance that you underestimated your own damage. Try the Path of Building Community tool. You can search your account and import your character into the tool. It helps reveal your true damage after taking into account many factors such as monster resistance. And afterwards with the tool, you can use it to test out which changes can really improve your build further.

just as I wrote in the game, there are no wands, shields, firepads and staves giving 200-900% addition to spell damage, which makes the magician many times weaker than those who use physical damage (swords, axes, bows, etc.)

Because spells do not directly scale with your wand damage.
You could even be using a sword and you could still cast spells.
The only time your weapon damage directly affects your spell damage is if you have "Battlemage"
Spells actually scale extremely well with levels and supports linked to them.
Way easier than melee.

However
If you go to your profile, click "Edit privacy settings" and under there remove "Hide Characters tab" you could actually get help from other players on how to improve your character.

Spellcasters are very very powerful - as long as you know what you are doing.
You dont, thats all there is to it.
Keep in mind that players with less than 1000 hours playtime in this game are considered noobs for a reason.


If you want help, go to your account privacy settings and unhide your characters so we can see what you did and give you proper advice.
If you dont want help, thats fine too but then stop complaining.

You don't understand how the game works. I state that as a simple fact with no malice intended. A few of the responses here have been rather obnoxious, but most are well intended.

You clearly believe you understand and feel the problem is with the game and not you. There is really no way to help someone who doesn't believe they need any help.

Your mistake was in posting in this forum, which makes it look like you're asking for help. Feedback would have been a better place to tell GGG their game is completely broken.

Or maybe you're just trolling. It's about that point in the league.
