How To Properly Craft?

So I am still a newer player following builds and there are some piece of gear I find in builds I am looking at that I both have no idea how to make whatsoever and I cannot find at all on path of exile trade. Like for example, a belt this build wants me to have is a Stygian Vise with Aspect of the Spider, T3 energy shield, T2 life, T3 of 2 resistances and an open suffix slot. It also seems like a lot of these gear choices are pretty important to the build so I don't know if you can compromise but this is just 1 piece of gear example that I just can't find for trade and no idea to craft, so how should I go about obtaining hard to get gear like this?

It's likely cheaper to trade for one rather than to try to craft it yourself. That's the nature of crafting "mid-tier" gear. Only the really high end stuff can be made for a profit, and you should leave that to pros anyway.

Crafting your Aspect onto a vise is Beastcrafting. You have to have found the right beasts... or trade.

You can also might be able to find them from special chests in Delve, Heist, Legion, etc.

But just trade for one. It's so much easier.

If you're dead set on not trading, you have to learn to play without stuff like that until it comes to you.

The problem with leagues is that anyone who has an item like that is either using it (and wont trade it away) or has quit playing (and isn't available to trade with).

I don't mind trading at all but I can never find gear with the affixes I am looking for on path of exile trading.

Yup. There's no "Grants Aspect of the Spider" up in Leagues. You'll have to give up that quest, or dedicate yourself to running Beastcrafting missions and hope for the right beast. You get a portal and have to defeat the boss beast. Not many players have ever even done that. It's that rare.

Maybe I should just stop following these builds with pure BiS gear with absolutely no alternatives at all. One build I am following was just made with these big requirements that no one sells so it's a little frustrating.

You don't need to buy the belt outright.

If you have a stygian with an open suffix, buy the beast itself.

You then have to go to menagerie, right click the beast orb in your inventory and it will add it to your menagerie.

Once you do that. put your belt in the arena, click fenemus. You fight the spider and boom. You have a belt with aspect of the spider.

That is what I will probably end up doing. I assume for the other 4 affixes I want on the best, it's just best to buy them outright with 1 open prefix and suffix?

When it comes to resitances, etc it really depends on the rest of your gear.

If you have your resistances elsewhere (i.e. if your chest is better than what the guide suggests) then you can skimp on a resistance suffix on your belt.

The important thing is an open suffix for the beast craft itself.

I would probably just search stygian vises on trade with T1/T2 life, and 2 resists. That's 1 prefix/2 suffix. Prefixes on non-influenced belts are kinda whatever. If you need that ES roll for some reason than include that in your search. I don't play trade, but I know there is a way to specify "has open suffix" in the search itself so you don't have to guess.
