I really don't mind practicing, if GGG could make a "Sirius laser beam classroom", no loot, no exp loss, just a friendly sparring session with our beloved Sirius.
I mean, I only get to fight him like once in a week or so, and limited to 6 portals. Sometimes die without even getting to him so kind of hard to get any practice.
I'm in the same boat.
I only see sirus once a week at best, and so I can't really learn the fight.
At this point I've completely given up trying. When I get to sirus I just run through the portals as fast as I can and then get back to mapping.

You could have learned the whole fight while you were typing this - I wish I was exaggerating.

While watching some video is good to get a feel for how the fight will go, watching someone do it is not the same as actually doing it. I watched tons of different videos and strategies for that damn ape boss from Sekiro and it still took me like 50 tries just to barely win.
That being said, I think Sirus is extremely easy to master.

^ This
I watched the videos several times actually, pausing and rewinding and pausing again.
I'm happy for you folks that so easily beat the encounter, if only I could be as awesome as you all.

Sirus is the best fight in the game. Unfortunately, it's technically broken and has been for some time and ggg refuses to fix it for some strange reason.

I do speedruns for Sirus for fun in league ends, never died because of a bug over 200 kills.
There is one where you get stuck in a wall but then the blast doesn't damage you.
Even if there does happen a bug that can kill you, it happens way way too rarely for you to care about it.
In general this game has so few bugs compared to how many goddamn mechanics there are that it's nuts - GGG should be praised every day for that.

Whew. Just remember to breathe through your nose while you're choking on that monster. Jesus.

I don't remember asking...?
The fact remains that the fight is broken and gets more so every league it seems. It's kind of a disgrace...

Sirus is a terrible fight, especially if you're a character using Vaal Pact and have no regeneration. The tornadoes are always in your way and half the time you're looking for the boss.
GGG thinks they're good at boss design? The whole game you kill your enemy before they kill you because there are almost no real ways of determining when you are supposed to dodge something. Final Fantasy XIV doesn't have this problem. You're given about 2-3 seconds to move, not less than one second and there's usually a huge circle or box that lets you know not to stand in it. This game has no indication and you don't know what to do unless you look at a guide. That's not an indication of a good game.
I've played this game for years now and I still get very angry. I don't know what GGG is doing. Why don't they just get rid of the tornadoes or make it so you don't have to wait a long time for them to move?
Practicing the fight allows you to understand and learn the mechanics of the fight. Then you don’t need “indicators” because you have experience to tell you when to move out of
The way.

Watch some youtube videos maybe. never brick sirus again is a good one. getting past tornados is easy part. Always have a corrupted blood jewel too. The fight is so easy once you understand it you'll be posting like i am with dismay. I;m a super casual and took me two leagues to beat uber atziri two to beat uber elder but sirus I took down first try. (with aid of pros on yourtube)
As far as sirus shots... there are videos on that too... mesa map is your best freind and every 30 min you can see sirus.
