Works on any tier. There is no failure message, only complete. Just went and did it in T5 after reading this post. Stand in the conductivity ground effect and blow them up. Complete.

I think it's very buggy as I am pretty sure I have done that multiple times before on the higher tiers but since they insta-died on T5 it just finished.

I just tried this and no message whatsoever. And no completion.
