Well, we got confirmation by Bex that it is, in fact, random. No determinism whatsoever. Just an average you can expect (50 maps on T14+). After making this post I found the Trialmaster three times in about 150 maps, so that checks out. Still unhappy about my 250+ streak without luck before that but oh well.
RNG spawns are still bad and I hope I won't have an unlucky streak again. I guess for 40/40 this league this means that I'm gonna grind white T14+ maps at the end. Fun! " This is also infuriating to some degree. Playing with minions or melee would make this a real pain. I suggest switching to a ranged character with big DPS to tackle this. I'm afraid I will also face this sooner rather than later. It doesn't help that you only get one try and, while he doesn't have a lot of HP, his hits are fairly strong if you depend on flasks or recovery from hits. This is like the missing cherry from old sweaty and salty cake. What a league its been, never been so frustrated and I do regard this the best game there is out there. Its been 3 weeks? Ive made 3 builds alrdy, done almost everything, ran dont know how many t16 maps, even been finding like 5 reliquary keys but Trialmaster seems to be a goner. League is starting to be over already and yet hes a fart in Sahara desert. Hard to find.
