People are not triggered because they think he was wrong. Just because life is not fair does not mean you actively try to make it worse.

They were paid to play the game on stream, GGG didn't want that money to go to waste so they gave Streamers and their groups priority access without asking, now he had to play the game in front of a bunch of people that couldn't get in and kept asking how it was fair. The situation wasn't fair to anyone, and frustrating for everyone.

ya exactly, everything he said was factually correct and there was nothing immoral or ill judged about any of it. I dunno what the people in this thread are crying about, i dont think they can fully gasp what he said tbh.

hes not comparing it in the sense of saying theres some kind of equivalence, hes pointing out that theres many unfair things in the world and a lot of them are far worse to live with than not being able to play a computer game for a few hours. theres nothing out of touch with what hes saying, theres nothing out of perspective, hes putting the suffering of the poe community into perspective with the grander picture of life on earth.




the western world could fix africa, there are enough resources being used in this world every year to properly house and feed everyone on the planet, easily. we know how to do it, you go in, build houses and infrastructure. we dont do it because theres no profit in it for the people in the positions of power to set it in motion, its that simple.

we live in cities like london where there are billionaires, so much food and shelter the amount that goes to waste on a daily basis is unfathomable... and yet theres homeless people. we dunno what to do about it, its complex, its.... ok, when covid hit the government decided that homeless people in a pandemic that effects normal people was a bad idea, they clicked their fingers and within a few weeks ended homlessness in london. they literally ended it and housed everyone, because it was so stupidly simple to do. and then it stopped being necessary so they threw them all back out on the street. this is within our own societies, the west could fix the entire planet, we chose not to, we chose not to even fix our own doorstep. where theres a will theres a way, and thats what is lacking, not capability, not an ability to grasp anything, we are simply lacking the will to do it because we dont care.
