It has masive psychological impact, and completely undermines any semblance of "fairness" that the game might have.

Here's a race between VW buggies... only the most popular 3 drivers get to drive porches. The race is no longer between VWs. So, even though 90% of those driving VWs wouldn't have won anyway, they don't engage in the same fashion, because the race isn't the same.

Fairness is important, even if there is no direct measurable impact on a single specific person; things that affect the event globally affect individuals too.

Everything he talked about is pretty much uncontrollable, this situation was extremely controllable.

It's what he can compare to given the moment.

Personally, I just watched streams instead of waiting in queue all the time. Life isn't fair, just that POE is his life and I'll give them that.

people are frustrated that some people get priority and if they dc which was every 5 minutes they can just right jump back in again and continue playing while all the others have to stick in the quere for 1h after 5minutes of playing.

Honestly i get where he comes from.

some people literally don't get it, there are things out of your control. you crying like a little baby isnt going to change the fact something is wrong.

and if you think ggg was like hmm you know whats a really great idea? Let's make the servers bad etc so people cant play the game and get mad.

if they dont even know what the problem is, which they claimed what more you want? i think the people most privileged are the ones that dont just stop at a report they whine and whine and whine. Repeating themselves again and again thinking that will change the sitation.

edit: and honestly having this streaming priority is probably better than nothing. IDK grow up or find other games outside of poe to play until the servers become stable.
