Streamer priority confirmed. PoE is free to play, so play it for free, but Boycott GGG.
Apologies for the lack of engagement. We have just entered lockdown here and I am seeking distractions elsewhere.
Glad to see this is still visible without my overt need to make it such. I respect all opinions and responses as something we have a fundamental right to express here in a civil manner, and appreciate the same from anyone else here. Even if you don't choose to withdraw your support of GGG, I urge you to at least remain vigilant for future signs that they are treating you as a lower priority than popular streamers, particularly in ways that are blatantly unfair. If you can keep supporting despite being aware of that...well, that's your choice. Please don't be ignorant of it. Of what sort of message your ongoing support sends to a company that has shown a willingness to break its own most sacred rules to make more money than you could ever give them. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

If we let that happen like if was normal streamers will ask for more privileges on other games, already they do, like if they was somehow the "saviors" of videogames and without them the games are shit, that streamers also feel that "power" because we give them that.
Since that incident Im just not playing poe like before, I also dont watch more poe streamers. Full Harvest is besto waifu, give me 3.11 and/or 3.13 and take my money.

It's like when you visit grandma with your brother and you know he always gets a little more for free and grandma also said that he is her favorite grandson ^^ Question: How much do you like to visit your grandma with this certainty? :D

" Since everyone bumps this thread anyways... I mean, the OP does his best to wrap tinfoil arround heads with the topic of this thread alone. Taking a singular event to state that something got "confirmed" insinuates that it has been this way all the time and opens up room for all this weird theories and speculations... this is just dishonesty and propaganda. But well yea, people that know his history... wont take this serious anyways... showing myself out again of this [removed by myself] "Glattes Eis, ein Paradeis, für den, der gut zu tanzen weiß" - F. " That´s my point. They made a mistake with streamer priviledge. They explained why they did it, they stated it was a decision under durress/stress, they apologized and promised it will not happen again. It was a single (confirmed) incident. How on earth can people come to the conclusion that this is a proof for anything? :D |

" The reality of the situation is that just saying, "Oh, the queue is extra bad this release. Let's let the streamers in first." does NOT make it happen! This is software and it takes work to implement mechanisms like that. It is unreasonable to think that this only happened once. This software mechanism to have a privileged queue had to have been implemented before hand. Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

Proof of this event doesnt imply proof of past events.
For instance, streamers getting better drops. No proof. KenMan
