Honestly I'm out. Tiny little grain of sand, I know, but as Ziz said "it's not hard to do the right thing." Watched Blizzard do this for the technical alpha of D2 Remaster. They gave the game to the streamers early for a day, which is a bad PR move. Then they gave it to people who had never played D2 - EVER - instead of people who bought the game and opted in for the technical alpha.

i don't think im trivializing anything. i do think its unacceptable that GGG can't figure out their server issues, especially with how ritual went down. but what can you do about that? don't give them money, don't play the game if you push it to the extreme i guess.
im just floating around the forums not even attempting to log into the game anymore and witnessing adults throw tantrums like children. its almost shocking the response this small event is sparking

You dont see the problem with streamers being able to play but regular PAYING users have to sit in a que only to still not be able to play?

This is no "small event". Theres thousands of players who looked fowward to returning like me. Logging in to twitch seeing others play while I cant 3 hours later and yeah. My urge to play this league has all but dwindled away.
And to think 3 hours ago I was willing to buy a beefy pack for my return this league. Id rather spend that on RMTing now to even the advantage the privleged ones have.

You've done a great job establishing your tone deaf stance to what these leagues and these experiences are all about. Do you expect anyone to consider your truths here when you seem to keep finding new ways to write the same paragraph?
Leagues and their start are an engagement that many look forward to. Servers being buggy, is to be expected (but needs to be resolved and they know it, they apologize for it and then the same problems persists) and in a world of so much uncertainty, humans are tired of fuckery.
This is fuckery on the part of GGG. They made the wrong choice - as I've already said.
