" So there's Elementalist, 4 point golem regen, Heart of destruction for convergence or shaper of flame/shock/chill Trickster, DoT Necromancer, use spiritual aid to scale your damage off of minion damage (although you can do this with any ascendancy, necro has some really nice regen, defense, and QoL Heriophant looks really spicy using mana to cover your life and arcane surge + life leech on your main spell hit for sustain I'm sure you could pull of any of the Templar or Marauder ascendancies too. And then there is Sion with Gladiator ascendant |

" so yeah i actually threw together a PoB for an exsanguinate + corrupting fever chieftain. chieftain works well for tankiness, regen to overcome skill costs + sustain, endurance charge scaling, and totem interactions. corrupting fever, since the buff is inherent to the gem itself (as is the damage) that means it scales with support gems right? yeah...6 link exsanguinate + unleash with a 4-6 link corrupting fever is going to be extremely powerful this league i can feel it. i just don't think i have the balls to league start it, especially in ssf Last edited by xMustard#3403 on Apr 14, 2021, 7:38:52 PM

Well if you want to start Chieftain you can go arma brand, flame wall, or other decent/good league starters and give the Exsanguinate a try when you're feeling brave.

" I watched a clip with some guy using corrupting fever + a bow skill to apply the stacks to enemies. This will end up like BB/BF, ED+contagion or mines, pressing constantly two skills to apply damage. It wil be less annoying since the buff (on the character) lasts 6 seconds but could still be too clunky to use in boss encounters where you have to move a lot and draining when playing it over longer period of time.
