POE will be the biggest loser this year

Not only did LE brought home the deterministc upgrade (which most players enjoy... because they actually have a life outside playing) vs the seldom used gambling "currencies" used mostly for trading.

Because Diablo 2 (their core idea is coming back to life, which most streamers are going back too... along with long time gamers as myself... and newcomers following suit).

As POE 2... coming sometime maybe next year amongst a flow of reminiscence and newcomers... but yet leading to the same end (or lack of) goal...

The future of this game is in jeopardy.

We'll see where people flow... but I doubt this will be a thing 2 years from now.

I expect another 10-20 of these threads over the next few days... salty peeps.

Yet POE will continue to grow and continue to dominate the ARPG space regardless. So all I can say is it's great if these people leave the community :)

In saying that, I'm sure they will be back here after the novelty of those other games wears off.

But we have options we didn't then and more coming down the pipeline.

I wouldnt hold your breathe on PoE2 coming out in the next few years.

Still ending up in the same map system... I looked away ehen that happenede... and found worthy options. This was never the expansion of D2 we were hoping... LE is more of it than this ever was. Will play again casually, will lose again and move away... this time, I actually have a place to go... and so will lots of folks...

Expect the numbers at league start to be way up and then way down...

look if people are upset with the direction of the game and all that, fair enough.

but if you're actually leaving the game and not going to play again, you're not going to fucking post about it.
the only reason why you'd post is to get things recognized in hopes it would change. if you're not playing the game anymore, you don't care about changing it.

people just get salty and emotional and feel the need to rant about it on social medias. this is what facebook/twitter/etc have brought to the world. for some reason people think others need to know the utmost details of their first world problems.

Classic game is dying thread. One thing I learned in a management class I took once is not everyone holds same views as you do... you're not the center of the universe (maybe in mammas eyes but not in general) and everyone is different. I happen to love the nerfs.
