Beastiary nerfs are catering to the 1%

Normally when making a melee weapon you start with a magic weapon with merciless of celebration, imprint regal split until you hit a good second physical mod.



this produces alot of semi good weapons with T2-T3 phys mods while working towards a mirror tier item.

Those byproducts will now completely disappear from the market since you can't split multiple times anymore. people will just imprint regal without splitting, aug phys, until they have their mirror weapon.

It makes crafting more expensive and will remove most semi-good weapons from the market. Prices for weapons will increase

this change is for the 1% and against the 99%.



The same process is used for alot of wands and sceptres, it will completely obliterate the items that sit between trash and mirror tier.

6W items will certainly get more expensive, but the T2-T3 market will be fine, because harvest will still be there, and people will get semi-good items accidentally. Also r/a crafts will still be there for non-influenced items, you can apply the conqueror's exalt after rolling 4 good mods.

6w doesn't even matter, its less 6L items aswell as the socket colors.

tbh the colors are just QoL anyways, they said harvest wont have annuls and remove / adds. aswell as making augments alot more rare, so there will be less good weapons overall

I wasn't clear from the video. Can you restore an imprinted state on the split "return base"? Or does the split tag mean your imprinted state is trash and lost for good?

We have added new Beastcrafts, such as ones that can add mods to maps or influenced items. It's no longer possible to imprint items that have been split (a process which is now limited to once per item).

you are ignoring that they said you will get less crafts overall, including less phys rerolls.

also don't ignore other weapon types that are crafted in that process, like mana wands with temple mod or other caster items.

God tier harvest crafting is nerfed but crafting decent stuff using harvest is probably not going to be too bad.

Im sure player enjoy that more than buying the crumbs from someone elses table.

Pretty dumb if you ask me. Basically, item that’s a “split” cannot be imprinted during crafting, hence is totally useless for most people. Unless the “split, cannot be imprinted” status goes away upon scouring item to normal Fenumal Plagued Arachnid is pretty much useless. Why would I intentionally ruin a good base to get two bases that I cannot later imprint in crafting process. Maybe I’m dumb if I’m not understanding this correctly, but that’s how I see it. Pretty awful to be honest, since now the cost of 6l base will be a cost of 6l fusings, so a player who got a couple ex will have to settle for a shorty base that cannot be actually crafted on.
