Multiplayer + Lootsystem = Garbage

First, sorry for this hard but truthful title.

I got two friend to try PoE out and play together. The first friend quite the game after some time with the comment "The game looks good so fare but tell me when they have a decent multiplayer then i will try it again."
The second friend played PoE longer but in single player because only this way he can get the rewards from the ritual seanson event ...

The main problem is that all the events in this game are designed for single player.
- Ritul season event only for the one who opened the map
- Harvest only for the one who opened the map
- Incursion Progress only for the one who opened the map
- Syndicate Progress only for the one who opened the map
- Heisst only the one who opens the Heisst get his fellows leveled
...

To make it worse the games looting system punish you for playing multiplayer.
For example with 2 Players each get 50% more drops but 150%/2 = 75% for each player.
This includes currency, suphur, ...

In addition some loot is again only for the one who opened the map like maps, and shards to summon the Shaper, Elder, ...
And even more if one player dies or is out of loot range (which is to short) has for example a slower build all the loot goes to the other player

To make it from worse to worst the looting system is still broken.
- even with permanent allocation there drop items which are free for all
- all loot drops for one player (happends two times by the Harbringer with its adds. The whole monitor full of loot and all for me. I was in the middle of the Harbringer spawns and my friend at the border because he was more squichy. So he was not this fare away but got nothing)


For me this is the biggest issue PoE has and should be prio number one to be fixed. (separate loot would be nice and would solve some of the issues)

At least this should be fixed to PoE 2. This is the absolute minimum what is expect from PoE 2.

Does every game out there need the systems that you want though? No. It is primarily a single player game with multiplayer features. There are other games out there which suit your needs.

You also forgot to mention the areas where multiplayer progress is shared, for example, bosses witnessed by the maven such as the shaper, elder.

Pretty sure it will not.

Actually the game is more rewarding solo on a nomal play, but it's actually decent in multiplayer on juiced content... A more rewarding multiplayer (aka 100% loot...) would "force" multiplayer as there would be overall more loot in multi than solo, so everyone would complain about being forced to play public-6-party.

Also a well build team with good aura/curse/elem combo should be better than solo play... A team can also split in the map for a better clearspeed without any loot panalty.

75% loot rate is fair IMO.

In the other hand, the new leagues mechanics are ALWAYS solo reward or even unplayable in a team (Early Delve <3).
This. Is. Bullshit.
Make it also 75-75, it wasn't that hard on ritual ffs !

I do not agree.

Playing with friend is more fun, but why should the players be punished? I did not ask to get a bonus for multiplayer only no punishment.

The shared looting range is to low so that a fast build can out run the other players and get all the loot. Splitting up is the same the fast build clears more and get more loot.

My main issue are the endgame content which are designed for single player where only the one who opened the map gets the progress.
