Why does no one link GMP with LMP for Freezing Pulse?

65% less damage, actually. Multiplicative, remember.

You do get some of that back though. You get something like 3% increased per level of the gem, which doesn't come even close to compensating for the amount, but if you can get all 7 to stack on the same opponent, even 35% of the damage 7 times is... well... a lot. (245% damage, to be exact)
Alteration Orb Union Local #7
I'll smash your nose with 20 Alterations before I'll sell them for 1 lousy Chaos. 16:1. No questions.
I still think someone should try running Split Arrow with GMP, LMP, and a Death's Harp because who doesn't want 12 projectiles?

245% is less than the 250% that GMP gives you by itself.
IGN: AtheistGods
I'll be recreating a D2 Bowazon using deaths harp + splitarrow + GMP + LMP + Knockback + Faster attacks + Life leech

because damage is required to kill things
The item is yours when it is in your bag.
5 x .5 = 2.5 (GMP)
7 x .35 = 2.45 (GMP+LMP)

So its worse in every way, less damage even with all projectiles stacking on one target, more mana cost, and less individual damage per projectile for shorter freeze and shock durations. Theres your answer

multiple arrows cannot strike the same target

freezing pulse is the rare exception to this rule, multiple FPs hitting the same target would help counteract the damage lost by using both GMP and LMP

which is why this is even an idea

Maybe because those effects don't stack? Huh, what a strange but obvious answer.

So you tried to be a smartass without knowing anything about the topic.

Yeah, you definitely fit right in with the PoE community.

Your jumping to conclusions and insulting the player base also fits quite well. Good job :)
bye bye PoE
