Sharper ???

Definitely check to see if the Maven beacon was active, shaper + maven is honestly one of the least fair fights in the game. Zana bubble does nothing for you there, you'll get attacked through it.

Were you able to protect Zana when he opens the portal and spawns minions? I think that happens when she dies during that.

That's no problem, you just made Zana die during the portal phase, she needs time to recover and if she didn't recover and he starts a bullet hell she won't create a bubble.
