Tough to rate after the first one, but:
1) The Wire 2) Arrested Development 3) The Simpsons 4) Damages 5) The Shield The Wire is just far and away better than everything else that has come before or after. There's no comparison. After that, Arrested Development is the smartest, most engaging and legitimately hilarious comedy program ever created. The amount of detail that goes into each script coupled with the actors' clear conveying that they are having a great time makes this show quite compelling. Plus, it rewards the viewer for being intelligent! What's not to love? The Simpsons clearly has survived so many years for its biting social satire, musical chops, and witty dialogue. Damages is a show people probably haven't watched before, but it deserves serious consideration. Each season is a tightly woven narrative arc that lets the audience draw their own conclusions without making them feel stupid when they are wrong. Love it. Finally, The Shield is without a doubt the most consistent show on television. Each of its seven seasons is equally good, and each episode is equally good. It never crosses into truly transcendent TV, but it always stays in the upper echelon. Definitely check it out. If you're curious as to honorable mentions, I have to say I enjoy Supernatural for its bold arc, campy fun, and general bad-assery despite being on the CW. The Day Today is perhaps the second saddest TV cancellation ever, after Arrested Development, but fortunately all six episodes are on Youtube!!! Dexter, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, and Party down are my other nominees, with Nip/Tuck getting the special "not good but most intense hour of TV you could possibly watch" award. |

I don't watch alot of tv but
1 - Southpark 2 - Futurama 3 - Curb your enthusiasm 4 - I can't think of anymore. 5 - I watch Advenure Time with my little brother everyonce in a while. |

1.Chuck
Chuck is the best show for sure and its only show what I support. When I watched this show from the start I knew it was going to be unique.. Chuck has been fantastic this season! It's full of action, drama, comedy, and romance! It makes you laugh, it makes you cry...it's funny, action packed and heartfelt.
