Black screen and fan screaming when click on Vsync - disable

Win 10 + RTX2060.

Starting from today, no similar issue observed before.
It first started when I was normally playing the game in a map, the screen suddenly went black and PC fan started to scream. I had no choice other than rebooting my PC.
I logged into POE again and stayed in game for a while it happened again.

Before my Vsync was set to enabled.
Then I did some experiment and found out: on the login screen if I click on Options -> Vsync -> disable, the black screen plus GPU overheat(?) happens immediately, I don't even need to click on "apply the changes" on the Option tab.

Feels like a power or GPU problem?

There was a Windows update yesterday and I tried to revert the update and upgrade Nvidia driver to latest but the problem remains.

To generate a DxDiag report

You should be able to generate a DxDiag report by searching your start menu for "dxdiag" and running "dxdiag.exe". Once you have done so, please click "Save all Information" and attach the resulting text file in a reply to this email.

To find your producition_Config.ini file

The production_Config.ini file is typically stored here: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile

Just tried Direct X11, same thing happened, twice, when switch Vsync to "disable", the black screen happened immediately.

No, I don't use any game optimization programs.

I'm going to second this issue. All similar circumstances, except, once I 'Play' a character, my screen goes black and stays completely black. I am forced to Alt+F4. VSync Disabled and Directx11

Is it the same if you play in standard ??
And what PC hardware are you using and are you sure that it's ok (including correct vendor drivers, bios/CPU/MEM settings) ??
