which content do you skip in maps?

In SC I don't skip any content except very rarely I'll skip a boss with a high level character and don't want penalty.

With HC, I'll skip anything that the little voice in the back of my head says "Don't do it. Don't do it."

For me, it's Heist. Can only bring myself to do it when I have a green quest Heist, or need to level a Heister up to run one. I just don't find them fun.

I'm still a relative noob (join in May 2020) and only play Standard because I can't devote the time to get anywhere during a league, but I'm curious: why even run the green contracts to level a Heister if you typically skip Heists anyway?

Gets them out of my inventory. The real question is why I click on the damn chests that spawn them. Can't answer that.

I only first encountered Heists recently, since they incorporated it into Standard, so I didn't know how to get rid of the green contracts either. But I've since learned that once you get out of town, you can just toss the contracts on the ground.

I used to do everything, but my pc struggles with legions now, so I either skip them or invite someone else to come in and do it when I'm done with everything else.

If I know the general direction a map will go from its spawnpoint I'll hit the mirror right away. If not, I'll scout around and pick a direction, sometimes I forget to go back and hit the mirror if something else has my attention (e.g. a syndicate encounter appears while i'm chasing the fog i'll do that instead, screw the fog)

In general I like content I can come back to if I have time, rather than "oh you're immediately on a timer as soon as you enter the map/interact with this pylon"

So no, I don't skip a lot. And Alva is the single best thing you can do while low mapping, because the money benches in the temple are level-agnostic. A double corrupt is a double corrupt is a double corrupt, whether it's at ilvl 70 or 85. Agree that temple mods are not worth it anymore.

And when (if!) they fix the stutter and freeze related to legions, I'll resume those as well.

Breaches and Rituals

Abyss if it's not in the passive tree area.

Rituals are insanely time consuming and not rewarding, it's actually kind of annoying considering they are not that bad.
Delirium: Because it killed me once - I had a jugg in early a9 with over 4k life, res capped, 5-6 endurance charges up and fortify. I got one-shotted by what looked like a lone white stygian revenant, so I skip it now

Legion: Because it killed me once - I clicked on the thing, let my minions kill a few mobs then backtracked to a safe place to let the minions handle the rest. No mobs on the screen at all, I suddenly die, one-shotted for over 8.2k damage. To this day I still have no idea what that was (it wasn't a boss getting DD'd, i had not killed a boss), so I skip it now

Heist: I heard that was rippy so I've never tried

Metamorph: Because I don't want to get one-shotted

Abyss: Sometimes yes sometimes no

Incursion: Because I kill too slow

Breach: I skip if my char doesn't have high chaos res, just in case

Ritual: If the layout sucks (like Moon Temple) I skip

I'm just trying to play it safe. I'd most likely do everything on softcore
I usually never skip any of them come to think of it...

Alva/abyss
The only thing I even think about skipping is the ever non-popular abyss - but I still do it since my build is so fast. I just think of it as added pack size. I can't say I am thrilled about the Temple but again, with a fast build it is far less painful. I can blast out a complete temple in about 25% of the time I used to do it...some of that is practice but most is full on sprinting.
