Now the game is fully freezing the computer and setting both monitors to solid random colors. Happening every 5-30 minutes. DxDiag on https://pastebin.com/WqEDHY7Z

Ryzen 5 1600 here and the same problem. Since the last patch. Before was everything fine.

This is unbelievable and unacceptable. I lose 3-5 portals PER MAP to random crashes. Roll back the patch immediately.

i crash 3-5 times per map. Almost impossible to finish a map....

Same issues there, game crashes to desktop after 2 or 3 minutes, can't complete a single map.

I deleted those folders in My Games as directed, it did nothing to help. I cannot play the game until this gets fixed. I've also verified all my folders through steam and updated all my drivers. Nothing has helped.

ryzen1600x 1080ti, have some crashes after last patch. but only while alt-tabing in town. will try disable op-cache in bios since it looks like zen1 problem. Last edited by 2Dforever#1804 on Jan 28, 2021, 8:21:46 PM

Ryzen 5 1600 GTX 1060 Similar Issue.
Its not quite as consistent for me as some of you: Since the last patch, I don't think I've had a session longer than half an hour without a crash, but I have has a few sessions where I could run a map or two before it goes boom. Disabling SMT with ProcessLasso seems to reduce the frequency of the crashes and increase the likelihood of a stable session; the last couple attempts gave me those 15-20 minute stretches before it goes right back to crashing after ~5 minutes. I haven't tried disabling that in BIOS yet. I've also noticed that a lot of my crashes seem to be on the same frame as an input (as in I click to move and it might as well have been alt+F4). When I crash in Oriath, it seems to happen on the first mouse click as I go for the waypoint. When I crash in my hideout, its sometimes when walking or putting/removing an object from stash. I can't swear that it's 100% of the time, but its frequent enough that I noticed. Anyone else notice this or is it just my dumb luck? |

This might actually not really GGG's fault. First gen Ryzen does have a hardware bug that prevents it from compiling under linux reliably - and for some users like me from running. AMD offered to exchange those faulty processors. So far Windoze seemed unaffected, but this could be the root of the problem here.
