Please cap Maven Healing
Hi,
I've run into this problem a few times now where I'm in a particularly hard fight that could be winnable if Maven wasn't constantly healing the boss. Since some of the bosses can one shot pretty reliably you have to kite and slowly chip away at the life. However often it gets down to about 30% and the boss get and then healed back up to 60% and it's wash, rinse, repeat for the rest of time. I have enough damage to kill the boss, just not fast enough damage. If the Maven was capped at only being allowed to do 3 or 5 heals total, I'd be fine with it, it would allow me to strategize and plan the fight which would be fun. Currently with the infinite heals all I can do beat my head against a wall until I either quit out or lose half a level of XP. This is not fun. I feel like you're punishing players for not having what you think an endgame build should be. Yes, I want a challenge, that's why I play this game, but I don't want a to be given a random middle finger due to poor boss design. Last bumped on Oct 28, 2021, 12:07:54 PM

This whole "More fighting! More!" is a spit on the eye of AtkSpd-oriented and DoT builds. A limit to the number of healing would, if any, provide a chance to actually end the battle, sooner or later. |

"Be renewed!" - and The Shaper is back to 100% hp. LOL! That's getting nerfed, right? |

I really hope this gets nerfed because it seems really over the top even for God Gamer Quin69 with his Shaper/Maven Encounter haha :P

I wish game developers would get a clue on healing/massive hp. A fight that wasn't challenging with 1million hp, doesn't suddenly get 100*'s harder with 100 million neither does healing. A tough fight will always be tough, but a easy facetank boss isn't going to be harder.
Plus it kinda makes some fights impossible. Just did the park boss, and he's pretty impossible to kill as can't stand near his lasers and any time I start to damage him those go off making me run away allowing him to heal./ he can't kill me, and I can't kill him SO MUCH FUN!!!!. Maybe have it so she can only heal 1 boss at a time, and can't change for a while, give you a chance to kill them, just makes on of the bosses one you can't kill or something. |

Just came here butthurt from SSF Shaper fight, I have over one mill Ignite DPS and Maven just plain and simply healed so long until I had like 50 voidzones there and ripped, invulnerable phase, here have heal. Last league I killed Shaper on block bleed glad with 400k DPS, now I cannot with triple that, big oof.

I have a fairly strong ed build this league and having just come from a 15/20+ minute shaper fight .. Down to my last portal with almost total area deny on the arena due to patches, boss on a few percent hp remaining, and again; for about the 20th time that fight: gifts 20/25% hp back to shaper. This is not enjoyable or fun. The maven heal changes nothing for insta-phase builds and yet makes the fight virtualy undoable for a very large portion of other players. There should be some sort of a limit on the amount of hp, the amount of times it can be used or at the very least make it a set heal amount rather than a huge percentage based heal. |

Stopping Maven from healing bosses its the way to go. Its a plainly unfair mechanic and even worst when she just decides to drop by a citadel map and make the map impossible to complete with that mechanic which just makes me want to uninstall the game. Not every build can deal with regen, or healing during invuln phases. I do understand that the game needs to have challenges but mechanics are unfair to the player are a no for me. Its not a challenge but a detriment to the player and it unfun. I close the game when this happens and do flirt with the uninstall button. This stupid thing just happen to me again on citadel. Plus the Bugging and Tposing of citadel maps on last update.

Yep, I'd just get rid of it. I don't understand why it was added, it's not like there wasn't enough interest in maximising DPS among players (??).
As a SSF player whose characters regularly struggle in early red maps, making things harder (and sometimes just impossible) for slower builds just straight-up makes the game worse for me, and I'm not sure how it could ever make the game better. It doesn't change how you play, it's not something you react to, it's a threshold you can either deal with or not. |

There is a skill called Frostbomb that pretty much negates her healing just so you all know. If your dps is too low to overcome it otherwise, just use that.
