So - new to the build and enjoying everything except spidey management, past that just looking for some advice from more experienced ppls about what my next improvments should be, especially in the single target damage department (I do get to 60 stacks)

I think I can probably fit in Arctic Armor instead of Dread Banner with enough mana after I get 1 or 2 of my clusters with RMR on em (self corrupted 2 so far) and have RMR on most of my needed jewels.

I self crafted the shocking ground/tailwind/increased duration boots... A part of me wants to try and elevate things and keep going... but they seem pretty solid so far - not sure if I'm missing something obvious there.

Happy enough with my belt/gloves for now, but if you can think of an obvious target for me to change to, I'd be interested.

Oh - also - havent been able to find a curse on hit + mana reserved ring -- is there a world where I drop the dread banner/AA thoughts and use a rare ring? Would that actually be worth?

Only other question is... is there a better way to summon/resummon spidies than the flask + desecrate method? Id love another gem slot and kinda hate doing it, lol

The second "Uncompromising" cluster should solve your mana reservation issues quite well.

The basic build isn't focused on sdps, 4-5m is what you can expect. Offensive versions ain't that tanky.

No way to get rid of desecrate, you need it anyway.

Alternative gloves with culling strike were a massive mapping QoL for me with cyclone and spiders management:

Just desecrate once at the beginning of the map and that's it. Culling strike can sustain spiders most of the time, cyclone is more mobile gameplay and ez summon spiders. Press flask from time to time just because you have it in the middle of dead packs while spinning here and there, and that's all.

Ooh, perfect - that is exactly the type of tech I was looking for to make the build feel a touch less annoying - and it should be a fun little craftinf project to figure out

And as for the dmg upgrades - I know I've got... the vast majority of what ppl would aim for -- Im just looking for min-max advice since I dont fully know the ins and outs yet

@Chromino

Look what i shot today for just 3 ex :) (divined myself)

Kinda useless until 100 cause no points to get additional Curse but i guess there is always an option to resell :/

You think its possible to go without the 3 Points to Anointed Flesh? The only real lose would be +1 to maximum all res. The other reduced effects are easy to get on Jewel implicits via Harvest.

Edit: i will give it a try!

Very nice ring! For mapping a lot damage! You can regret some points like raze and pillage, rotten claws, cult-leader or mana-passives and use whispers of doom before level 100.

Thanks - I assigned now the spellsinger and will try Vile toxins as well.

The trap attributes on the gloves just came along with thus purchase - I have no need for this but these are my best gloves.

yes, gloves are okay, only a totemsupport don't work.

Good & fine gloves!!

Did all the changes and the build is great in normal maps. As soon I come to difficult bosses or Marven like Fear I have no chance. Guess thats the idea from PoE not giving the final bosses to everyone. I made this experience already with other chars and this was now my final try but still the same. Good chance to say good buy to PoE.

The feared are really though and you need movement and enough damage to kill one of them fast. You can switch in hatred or increased gemlevels to raise the damage nice against them, see "make hatred, not grace".

Maven herself get's easy with the jewel "militant faith", you get 90% immune against her elemental attacks - but you have still to know some of her attacks with physical components and her aoe's. After some practising she is not difficult to defekt.

Yes, the bosses need some experiences and some specialisations when you don't know them well.
In the spoilers "boss-hunting" and on page 50 in the spoiler "More Tipps for Boss-hunting, Shaper / UE, Ueber-Atziri, The Feared, Maven" are a lot tipps.

All other maven invitations are easy with the build.

@monik390

I actually have no problems with ball lightning keeping up spiders, just kill fast enough

@Chromino

I currently use without annointed flesh, works totally fine. I guess the watcher eye carrying really hard.
Much congratulations to Eviltraveller level 100! Arachnophilia!

A very nice set-up with some energyshield of passives utmost intellect and foresight, some more armour of batlle-hardened on a small cluster.

Full damage with 60 virulences, no iron reflexes and increased skillgemlevels instead, only 7.9 k es, that's a path of agony for the mobs being fast oneshotted in masses cruising your maps!

Also much congratulations and honour to impressfull winning 40 of 40 challenges - that is the top of top!

Full damage with 60 virulences, no iron reflexes and increased skillgemlevels instead, 7.9 k es, that's a welldone path of agony! Nice damage in exchange for some defences!

35 / 40 challenges (until now, hehe :-) ) - that is impressing arachnophobiac style! Awesome!!

And full congrats to manum_exp! Relaxed level 100!

Arachnophilia!

Also solely with astramentis amulet (anointed with gravepact), and without iron reflexes, a simple Skin of the loyals without keynotes or without gemlevels, not optimized not maxed flasks-setup, still with a bnostalgic non-CI lifeflask and enduring manaflask in the ordinary flasks-set - that is an extreme fine skilled path using the easy starting gear impressive up to level 100 and to reach this endgame without full-gear! Great!

Yes, Monik390 did a lot great tipps!

You can also take a cold iron point dagger instead Arakaali's and switch in phantasms in the HoA supports or cws anomalous skeletons for the ascendancy onslaught buff, or a hungry loop for zombies or spectres. For some bosses like maven the spiders remain b.i.s. with full 15 witherstacks, but with a cold iron point dagger or triggerwand you get enough damage and defences also when you don't prefer the swarming spiders.

For example ultratanker stepped with the build to level 100 even with mana-reserving HoPs and feeding frenzy:

https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/LuisGustavoBurko/%E3%86%8DUltraTanker%E3%86%8D?i=10&search=class%3DGuardian%26skill%3DHerald-of-Agony

and last leagues there were 100's with skeletons in cold iron point dagger.

Yes, the build works in most situations and encounters without anointed flesh too. But for some high tier legions or deeper delve igniting mobs you go best and deathless with 100% ignite immunity and the ailments avoidances of anointed flesh.

And yes again too, when you map fast you ordinary don't need to resummon the spiders and to raise them one time at the start of maps is enough.
