Encounters III - Gorgon Challenge Bugged - Ref# 3,159,139,974

i have the same problem, no fail (or success) notification since i started trying ~2-3 weeks ago. it was not fixed in the latest patch. also tried the rumi trick. plz do something

It's not bugged, you have to use a Sulphur Vents Map. Killing him at the boiling lake in act 9 doesn't count. Besides that you (and everyone with you) must be affected by his petrify debuff during his death. It's probably better to do solo if you can.

same here, I was petrifired when Gorgon died but no completed challenge :(

Same here, have been trying to do it 2 weeks ago and didnt get any notifications, tried again just now and still nothing.

has a fix been found? friend is trying to do this and nothing is happening, no message failed or complete

Note that petrified from flask is a flask effect so that GGG may overlook OR

GGG may be not write it clear that only the debuff from the monster count


Also, reddit people claimed that they use special build and made it successful to do this challenge

Fix this crap. No success or fail message. Have killed with being petrified. And the icing on the cake, my last attempt I was wearing Southbound gloves. Trash mobs wouldn't die, but oh no, the map boss did. WTF. Another map wasted. Another attempt gone. I'm sick of this.

Seriously... just did again... was petrified by the boss... no credit.

I am still having this issue as well. Have been trying on and off for a few weeks trying to get this done. Read several guides about it and have tried the Kaom's Roots trick and still nothing.
