Encounters III - Gorgon Challenge Bugged - Ref# 3,159,139,974

I also have a problem with this challenge.
I used a replica of Rumi concoction, which gives 5 sec petrify during flask effect (augmented with Harvest). I tried both bleeding the boss and immediately use flask or use ballista totem to kill it. I was still petrified for 1-2 sec after boss died, but still no challenge completion. Pls fix the bug.

Same. I did solo. I killed him three times when I was petrified already, no challenge update.

Well. I able to complete the challenge without any issue. I killed it when I was in stone form by staying long enough under its glare debuff.

It seems some people can and some can't. My brother killed him with a miner and got it. I tried multiple times with different characters but no luck.

You need the debuff on you when you kill it. Get something with "Movement speed cannot be modified to below base value" (Example: Juggernaut ascendancy notable), and you will be unaffected by petrify, and can kill it normally.

I also used Replica Rumi's Concoction to no effect. Have tried it multiple times and am sure i was under petrified debuff while my minions killed him.

I also got no message that I failed which i do in other encounters when I fail one of the encounter conditions.

I am quite aware of that. I assure you the debuff was on me when I killed it.

Clearly showing the petrified debuff up top. Gorgon dies, no completion.

Frame by frame shows it too. The debuff is active BEFORE he dies and through his death.

EDIT: Turns out it MUST be his petrify that you're affected by.

Am i doing something wrong here or is it just bugged? I waited infront of it to get the debuff icon and killed it with Frenzy linked to culling strike but no notification whatsoever??

Just tried 2 times with Replica Rumis and no message regarding failed or completed challenge.
Please fix the bug, or change the wording of the challenge so that it says you have to be affected by Gorgons Petrify...
