A friend of mine and I attempted the Gorgon Challenge"
Defeat The Gorgon in Sulphur Vents Map while all players are Petrified. We believe we completed it appropriately, however, there was no challenge message at all after killing the boss (no "Challenge Success" or "Challenge Failed" message) that came up afterward. I don't know if this is due to being done in a group, or perhaps the fact that it was in a Zana map, but there seems to be some sort of issue where the challenge itself is not being 'tagged' for the attempt. Same problem here, also did it with a friend. 2 Attempts in a row didn't show a completion nor a failed message. First attempt did show a failed message, we were not petrified the first try for sure

I killed the boss while being zapped by his petrifiy curse (seems broken as I didn't turn to stone) There was no message to say I failed. Second time I got my ancestral totems to kill him. Again no message. Will wait for a possible fix Last edited by kiwichap#4866 on Jan 24, 2021, 8:07:59 AM

Same here, no message about fail or success, killed him 5 times already.
Twice I had the petrified buff but not turned to stone when he died. Turned to stone once while in a fight so didn't seem to be the problem. I did not see a message in any of the fights when it ended. Also, tried with different characters, and no luck there. |

You need to damage the Gorgon a bit before he can petrify you, after he is damaged he will start to shoot red laser beams at you and try to petrify you. I just placed and ancestral warchief totem and completed the challenge.

yeah got it. you need to dmg the boss a bit to trigger his petrify. nothing will happen when you just wait for his lasers. right then when he is in his petrify mode you need to dmg him then you get the debuff and then its up to you how to kill it. i used ancestral warchief and arcanist brand.
also its easier to do it on t3 map. the only issue here is the "failed" message not to come up when you fail ^^ |
