Another Map Drop Thread Complaint

Hello all,

I've been playing PoE Echoes of Atlas and at least 3 other leagues after the original Atlas.

Overall is ok but the issue is the map drop rate between tier 1~6 is pathetic and It always leaves you stuck.

You cannot progress in the Atlas just by playing it. The drop rate is to low and it won't give you higher maps to move on.

Kirac sells only map tier 1 and drops are tier 1 and rarely tier 2.

I've completed act 10 yesterday and 1 day after I'm still playing tier 2 maps.

I remember old Altas where you could play tiers 1~13 with decent progress and needed to buy maps only after 14~16.

This really needs some attention. Could you please sort out drop rate or include a new mechanism to get higher tier maps?

And for those who think it's ok and the answer is buy tier 4 maps I only have to remind you that players tier 1 just finished killing Kitava and need to rework their entire gear to survive the Altas where all their currency and attention goes to.

Give some room at least for the first 4 tiers until Zana appears and tight up later giving players a few maps to farm and time to get the new gear.

Cheers

Zana: Are you still sane Exile?

Trade map is the key for you and this is the untold truth, you can always get additional map from the map you traded from market.

I have tested this method for many leagues and it works wonder for me.
You are probably running them white.

Probably true, but in my experience, trading for maps is a very time consuming effort, having to send out 20 trade request to get a hit.

Just another way GGG's design keeps me from actually, ya know, playing the game...
Next time, use the strategy in this video and you will always have the map you need.

Also, you can use this website to trade maps easily

this has to be troll. for this league for sure. im getting so many more maps then what i can even hope to run so far (up to t8 maps)

usually i slide by with like 10-20 maps or so per tier until i get 130+ atlas completion. this league i already have 60+ of lower tier maps. teens of t 5/6/7s right now and as i said im just breaking into t8s.

i like to try to complete each map i can at least once, but i hate running maps over and over to try to get a connecting map so i almost never do. i also don't trade for maps basically ever (until t16s maybe).
just buying them from zana at appropriate times (ones i haven't completed, that is) and just running them for atlas completion.

like i said i have well over 150 maps and my atlas is 60 completion. in game my status message is "so many map drops!! this is banonkers"
It has never, ever been easier to get to red maps self sustained. Run your maps yellow and do the tiniest amount of master missions (like 1/4 of them + all zanas). Use your horizon orbs, you should have found 20 by level 90.

101 completion right now with ~6 maps in my stash still ready to complete for the first time. I have traded for 0 maps and leeched completion off of a friend for 2 (both unique maps).
I play SSF, T14s are hard to get not T 1-6.
~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.
I haven't had to trade for maps since they introduced watchstones and I find all the maps ez every league.

That said map sustain is easier than it has been the last couple leagues. I've also not had any alch shortage running white maps.
Having absolutely no map issues. Between drops, Zana purchases, orbs of horizon, and harvest map crafting (which has given me a map that I haven't completed yet every time). I am consistantly having new maps to complete.
