Toxic Vines disabling Attack Movement skills is a bad mechanic

Toxic Vines in the Foul Rituals disabling Leap Slam completely negates it as an attacking option, if it does the same with whirling blades you then disable the blade interaction during the ritual meaning people will not build around it.

Not only are vines one of the worst, most frustrating, and unenjoyable mechanics you have added to the game, now you add mechanic to them that breaks key components of so many builds, especially melee.

Its a good way to prevent anyone from playing with Kaom's Roots this league. Quite frankly its just plain dumb.

For the time being I just won't run Foul Rituals. I'm not entirely sure that was your intention when you added this rubbish to the game.

Absolute nonsense mechanic. I play storm burst, how the duck am I supposed to DPS?
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.
I rely on whirling blades for like half of my damage with venom gyre :/

Can't even imagine this for people using shield charge as a main damage skill lmao, it's just completely dead.

I absolutely agree.

You need to stop in order to attack or cast spells. I play dual skill, Bladefall & Blade blast, which means I have to stop for 2 casts every time I want to deal damage and that is long enough for me to get 2 stacks of Toxic vines. This means I can not use Flame dash to get out of hurt inevitably going my way.

This need to be tuned down to only apply periodically with significant gap between pulses or make the debuff apply in small area. Current implementation is absolutely horrible.
Agreed. The only options I see are to be able to facetank or be strong enough to 1-shot everything. Doesn't seem like a good design to me.
Agreed. It also disables spells like flame dash. Impossible to DPS with channeling skills.
I mean I haven't tested it but if it's anything with the movement tag then even charged dash and flickerstrike would get disabled (which considering those are main skills when used there goes all you damage)
Interference with the movement and control of a player's character is almost always an unenjoyable game mechanic.

You might as well just disconnect them.

Agreed. I feel like half of the deaths during this league were from toxic vines.
