Calling it now. Cyclone will be used by 50%+ of the player base this league.

Cyclone will be most played gem/build is what i think as well.

CoC/Discharge will be huge but also the classical spin to win best melee skill Cyclone style will be used.

This, is so wrong. Giving people the idea that cyclone is strong or stronger than other skills. Obviously it has its uses, but for me personally it has never been the dammage that made me use cyclone. It is simply because most other skills feel like crap compared. name locking is so bad after you played cyclone for a while, and it became 10 times worse after they did the thing about dodging attacks.

Should a skill be balanced on the fact that it just feels good to use compared to other skills? if you ask me no. Make the other skills "feel" better to use.

Cyclone is popular for several reasons; mechanically sweet, easy to understand, predictable, versatile and accessible. The numbers aren't what makes cyclone good.

I'm with you. I've done:

Berserker, Chieftain, Juggernaut, Slayer, Champion, Gladiator and Raider. I actually think my Harvest Berserker Cycloner was the best (Max Block Glancing Blows Staff Crit). Berserker and Raider are the most fun variants becaus of the speed.

This time around? I'll probably go Berserker again, utilizing Replica Wings of Entropy, aiming for 5mill DPS and 36 challenges.

my deletus maximus cycloner was in legion as berserker had so much dmg :) and the berserker support gave it decent aoe
