Even players that hate it will end up finding its the go to skill this league.

Should have guessed when it was showcased about a dozen times in the expansion reveal and trailer XD.

yeah i'll probably go cyclone again but its because i like it. i played it in heist as well and ignored carrion golem and aurastacker.

is there a league since legion that this wasn't the case?

nothing it just didnt get nerfed and has been strong for quite a while.

edit- impale got a nerf though right?

Not exactly nostradamus. Since CoC uses it too this will always be the case.

Only time it wasnt when they nerfed cool-downs into self cast (500ms for like 1.5 years).
