Sure, multi gives you three attacks per frenzy, but ancestral call gives you hits on three separate targets per frenzy. Couple them and you attack three targets three times... Would suck versus bosses, meaning you'll want mostly single target supports. Patch Notes 3.15:

Especially since, with Shaper of Flame, you have guaranteed 1-1 charge/flicker. most Oro Flicker builds require multistrike to "cover" for bad luck due to not having ABSOLUTELY 100% ignite rates. Unneeded here! can take a different gem that does more outright damage increase?
