Magma Wings from Twitch Stream

No wings. Checked my twitch connection. Confirmed - it was established prior to Exilecon. I got Exilecon drops at the time also. I watched the Ziz/Steel stream from when the timer said 'starts in 38 minutes', as I didn't wanna miss it :D . I watched all the way through.. (funny when he put Steel over Octavian at the start of baeclast - tho they cut away not long after it started..). I even sent messages when Ziz asked what we thought the announce ment was gonna be, typing 'rip Sirus' ( and I wasn't far off - for now at least ;) ) I watched the stream on CONSOLE xbox series S. I feel if I'd watched it on my pc there would have been no problems. What remains confusing is why I got drops for watching Exilecon, yet got none for watching hours of the Ziz/Steel stream. I have already checked the twitch inventory and it says nothing claimed yet, nor is there anything to claim. No mention of wings in my account anywhere. Wanted the wings. Darn it. I guess I'll have to just earn my cosmetics in the once a year races for Xbox. I managed to get four demigods in three races - but apparently I have to git gud to get mtx from a twitch drop that worked fine last time. I'm not screaming in rage here. Just passing on my experience. I'm only posting this late as I just expected them to be here tonight when I logged in, but alas. idk. thx for everything anyhow. |

" If nothing is showned here --> https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory then twitch system doesn't see that you have furfilled the req to get the drop = you have to make a support ticket with twitch And checking this link should show you that your account link is active + here you can also see when the drop will be active ingame --> https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/twitch If you still have problem after this, then you will need to e-mail GGG support directly. |

" Thanks for the response. I did do the checks suggested above prior to posting my feedback. Nothing in Twitch inventory. My accounts remain linked since Exilecon. I was logged in as I had to do the code confirmation through twitch and thne on my pc as well. Also - I'd hate to hassle GGG and sound like a whinging leech for not geting free MTX wings which I never expected. I did watch live to get the wings. I did the same process to receive my Exilecon drops (like 5 darkswarm pets - rng - reeee). The only difference is I watched Ziz's channel instead of the official. I'd hate to ditch Ziz 'just in case' that's why the drops didn't work for me. I am aware they worked for others who watched him. I may try a support ticket with twitch - but in reality - I have already given up on the wings. It is some anomalous problem that much is clear. I have a feeling that when Twitch asked for a confirmation code on the xbox, which requires me to log into Twitch on another device, it has logged me in on my pc. With the code given to my on PC I entered that into Twitch xbox app, which it accepted. It then went immediately to the usual home screen showing streams available for viewing. I clicked on Ziz and thought it would be fine. It seems as though when I logged in on PC AS DIRECTED to get the code, it has understood I am logged in on PC. When I put the 6 digit code into twich on my xbox - it is most liekly that it hasn't understood I have logged in there. On Xbox my username was displayed in the top right corner as was my twitch avatar showing I was logged in. The only explanation it seems it that it kept looking at my PC log in -where I wasn't watching anything - and then I got no drops. When in truth - I'd followed the directions to enter a code - logged in on both devices (there was no presumption, or warning given to suggest, Twitch couldn't handle this) and watched over 2 hours of a single stream uninterrupted. No drops. |
