The most stable PoE build of all time to invest on?
Been playing the game for years now since pre atziri patch some time ago in multiple accounts (garena, steam etc). Since then i've noticed that most builds will die out soon either due to GGG giving them the nerf hammer, or just straight out killing the build mechanics.
Just wondering what're your guys thoughts on the most stable build to invest your time in? Doesn't have to be the meta build all the time. Just the ones that you can pretty much deal with the new end game stuff every patch, even if you invest decent amount of currency into it (say 100ex - 200ex). I love min maxing builds/chars in std after league ends since I'm really just a casual player nowdays, but just hate it when the builds go somewhat irrelevant after sometime. My goal? Play build in league -> Try to min max as much as possible -> Migrate to std -> Continue to min max there in between leagues -> Have a build that can somewhat still be relevant after patches and not feel time was wasted min maxing it "Every force you create has an echo, your own bad energy will be your undoing" Last edited by KingReaperYul#2573 on Jan 3, 2021, 12:35:18 PM Last bumped on Jan 4, 2021, 1:09:51 PM

umm cyclone?

I guess that's true. I remember when BoR cyclone was a thing.
Nowadays it really depends on bleed/impale stacking really. Which is the kind of things that GGG like to tweak once in a while. And this can make or break a build. "Every force you create has an echo, your own bad energy will be your undoing"

" i played it this league and it was more than enough to do most end game content |

anything that hasn't been in the top 5% of skills because chances are its never been nerfed :p especially if your budget is 100+ exalts.
I'd personally go for EQ, you've been able to make an extremely strong EQ character since they added it to the game and it hasn't really changed a great deal in that time. A good alternative especially with high budget would actually be minions which have been busted AF since at least abyss league if you knew how to build them and have only gotten stronger since then, matching or exceeding the background stat creep. |

That's a good point, play the ones that's not popular. Prob some wander build is a good idea. But then again, on the high ends, it'll prob gonna be the aura effectiveness stacking game all over again.

Thinking its not exists.
Every build I had - got destroyed in some way or another with multiple nerfs. I dont have any prfect build in St from all 30 95+ chars I played on leagues, and most of them done toptier content at their time. |

Don't abandon us. don't turn your backs on the ones loving poe. |

Like a super safe bet of a build that can do everything?
2 Hand Physical Impale Warcry Earthshatter Slayer. My ssf build was able to get millions of dps out of nowhere because honestly ES is a little busted, and the AOE was great. I'm talking like being able to global AL8 guardians and sirus was a damn joke, but also one punch almost the whole screen -> move on to the next. All while being immune to physical reflect / stun / bleed and having over kill leech (huge for slams in general) and overleech. Earthshatter also maxes your impale stacks in one combo of slam > warcry. And hell I did this all with only two warcries, seismic cry for damage and Enduring cry for insane regen. I'm talking like almost 2m initial hit dps, and each spike was almost 1.5m per, and while that was a sweet (for me) 700 + pdps axe, it was on a 5 link. And ssf gear. I also found you only really need Admonisher node (the 3 point one) and measured fury (axes) for the warcries to feel near instant and fun to play. Anyway yea there's my 2 cents lol Edit; Unless the new skills for 3.14 looks awesome, I think I just talked myself into a starter for next league. Yea too bad thats the case. But I do understand why GGG does it. Just to make the game interesting and all.
Well HH builds can do the mapping content no problem. But when it comes to bossing etc, it's more towards how you build the character rather then solely relying on HH buffs imo. It's just nice to have that 1 character you go to (aka main) in Std just to test out the last league end game stuff and not be worried it being bricked by next league changes. Minor buffs and nerfs are fine, just the ones that break builds/do half the dmg after nerf that's annoying. "Every force you create has an echo, your own bad energy will be your undoing"
