I don't think the effort put into the min maxing should have effect to such degree. There should be some room to focus on the content for somebody to have fun, while keeping it interesting for occasional "change of pace" and denying somebody completely crushing economy by pushing super inflated "garbage" to the market.

My proposals probably won't achieve that, it will just make Heist interesting enough for me to run occasionally.


I feel compelled to bring up the fact that FUN in a VIDEO GAME should not be a novel idea. This is not a job.

I'd like to see three changes:

1.) If you leave a heist it's over and can't be entered anymore.

2.) Rogue markers can only be acquired in heists. (amount needs adjustment)

3.) Blueprints can't be duplicated anymore.

I also had 0 fun in heist, not to mention it destroyed economy. It takes twice as much time if you were going to play League + main game (atlas etc), league was totaly independent of base game, when i saw it first time i got bored and i saw where it leads. First time that i gave up in less then 10 days.

Agree on 1 & 3. Disagree on 2, I don't know anyone that picks up rogue markers in maps. You already get heaps of rogue markers from running heists, especially if you use the 25% increased reward from main target brooch which will net you 1.5k-5.5k markers per run. No adjustment required here.

Its mentioned elsewhere in the thread, but the regal to exalt trinket has to go. I'm not really sure what they were thinking with that one, but its just absurd.

The word 'adjustment' is neutral. It means to alter or move (something) slightly in order to achieve the desired fit. You felt like I wanted to 'increase' the amount but my words don't indicate that.

If you 'already get heaps' from running heists then my point 2 (which you disagreed with) is already passively active because people will choose to mostly go for heists when farming markers anyways.

I really hope GGG will take a look at Flashback player interaction with Heist content pre-maps, low maps, endgame - to have a clear picture of popularity of the content in short format like 3 weeks - which is fairly large amount of player's activity window within a temp league.

It might turn out that it is very popular early on as leveling substitution, falls short low maps and could become very popular in endgame for the grind to 100 purpose - where people use the continuous mob spawning "for free".
