With cyberpunk being the most amazing looking peace of art will poe get ray tracing?
CDPR is a disaster, and their cp fiasco is proof. They’re on a similar path that took Ion Storm from a mountain top to the grave back in early 2000’s. They created the critically acclaimed classic Deus Ex and also one of the worst games of all time - Daikatana. Cdpr has Witcher and Cyberpunk... respectively.

" Man, you're a revisionist. Don't rewrite history to invent correlations when there are not, on different topics it would be criminal. I played Daikatana at release, I bought it as I grew up with doom serie. The game was extremly flawed se there was a clear/unilateral consensus on it beeing total garbage, I was 16 and it felt bad 2 weeks then we moved on. Cyberpunk has a public rating of 7.1 on metacritic, despite all the review bombing. I feel like this is an adequate score. It will actually be remembered as a good game, and my 5 cents is that there will never be a game like that again, because it is a bit unproductive and costs too much. It will end up as a classical Open World ovni and I'm pretty sure, that after few patches and extra content it will end up a true classical. To push the analysis, Cyberpunk 2077 in an open world game, ALL the open world games to existence have flaws, basically always the gameplay is the thing that suffers the most from the format. So educated people bought it for the story and the immersion, to me the gameplay is better than expected but the raw story content is imho too low. I'm sad there are no end game but actually there is never proper end game for this kind of games. Last edited by galuf#4435 on Dec 22, 2020, 7:52:12 PM

" review bombing? can you define that please? is giving a bad review considered review bombing? im legitimately asking because thats kind of the world we live in right now. can't say anything negative about anything or else you're some sort of negative trait/character/descriptor. the reviews are tanking because more and more people are having some serious problems with the game. on the flip side, i do think there is essentially some sort of "review sensationalizing". giving something a much higher review than it actually deserves, especially in the case of cyberpunk. this is probably due to people not wanting to piss anyone off and risking their income from turning people away from their content or getting black listed etc. one review i watched hardly had anything positive to say about the game other than graphics, and still gave it an 8.5 out of 10. i was shocked. its as tho he's rating from 6-10 instead of 1-10. personally i think a lot of reviews get polarized just like everything else in this world. people who enjoyed the game and think it deserves a 7/10 (which is a respectable score, lest we forget) end up rating it a 9 or 10 out of 10 in order to "combat review bombing". and the same thing can be said about negative scores. some people have probably experienced a 5 or 6 but give it a 1 or 2 or 3 in order to "combat the paid for biased reviews" or just cause they're pissed off at losing $60 (which is also understandable considering all the blatant lying that has gone on from CDPR) |

Yes agreed. Can't see anything right now. If add more effects, it is going to be even worse.
