4000+ trips though quarry. 40+ alva temples. 0 fucking t3 corrupts. Temple is utter bullshit.

i am so fucking sick of this mechanic. it shouldnt take an entire day of doing NOTHING else to MAYBE get a t3 corrupt, even when gaming the system.

worst part is the fix for temple is so simple; give players a choice of two rooms when you enter. that's it. that's all.

I hope the 4k trips were fun at least, lest you step back and wonder what you're really doing with your time...
oh, and a bonus bitch. i have tried to use alva prophecies to farm her. they simply do not work. oh, they proc if she shows, but every time ever other master will randomly spawn first. i have even had times where every OTHER master spawns TWICE or more before alva shows once.

so not only is it impossible to reliably farm her after exhausting your missions, but it is also impossible to ensure it generates a room with even the POTENTIAL of being useful.
RNG is a bitch. I got 5 T3 corrupt in 7 temple runs, the 6th is in the works.

and this is why all games relying on rng tend to be shitty
I saw a suggestion somewhere to get unlimited incursions before entering the temple, much like you can forge your betrayal/syndicate board however long you want before raiding a safehouse.
That would be really neat!

update - after countless trips through quarry, and far fewer temples, i got a t3 corrupt altar.

it took 8 hours. i ran nothing else during that time. eight. fucking. hours.

edit - i earned 3% xp, at lvl 98, in quarry. ridiculous.

Sorry to ask, but are you in SSF? Could you have bought a T3 room?

Not everything in the game is equally lucrative. The difference indeed quite big i think.

-Heist pays about 2-3ex per hour.
-Grand heists with everything optimized and the 4% trinket might pay simular (although i think less now the beast crafts are way overpriced)
-juiced 100% delirium maps probably pay a lot. (dont know yet, i am a noob still working to get ther)
-Delve pays pretty reasonable. (maybe really good at deeper depths, dont know yet, project on todo list)

-Incursion and syndicate pay very little. Are not worth target farming. Are at best a little addition to your mapping income just like leveling gems in your weapon tab is. (If you know fast enough what to do in the encounters without having to check lists, otherwise its not an addition but a distraction)
