Unfair ban for breach of Section 7 of our Terms of Use

Like i said veterans will call me liar. It was not a fresh account which was banned. Had it few years with supporter pack.
I stated that i did not use: - macro for flasks or any other thing - mause macro - trade macro - overlay Maybe i should dedicate my time to posting shots from streamers using such programs. You are putting me in the same bag like that guild with bots running as a members. Maybe it was not a program, maybe my connection did disturb them. Maybe it's pointles, maybe not. I hope You will not get in my possition with all that money invested in game :D |

Now look at this guy, who is a friend of mine: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Neonatis555 He was banned at the start of league and then unbanned (which means the ban was applied wrong), which took around 2 weeks to resolve. At the time of the ban he and his friend were top 1 Delve, and this ban took them out of competition. Imagine what he felt being wrongfully banned and a league ruined for him? (You cannot realistically compete on a new account) His friend he played with still got no answer and he was top 1 Delve in Harvest (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2874960 - sort by depth). Their whole guild was nuked including SSF players and people who not logged in for months, even though one of the guild members could be a cheater, a guild leader cannot realistically watch over everyone, this puts you at risk of being banned just for the fact of being in a guild. Another guy I heard of was banned and then unbanned (means GGG itself admitted it was wrong) because of being gifted a tabula from a friend. I often share small things with my friends or do a breachstone rotas, and things like that making me (and a lot of people) afraid of completely allowed in game activities. There are plenty of people who got unbanned (check the threads here or the subreddit) without the ban being replaced with a "warning", so GGG itself admits that some bans were wrong. So please stop the witch hunt, there is nothing constructive about calling people cheaters and trying to imply your superiority, it's the same as calling people scammers without proofs, and could be actualy harmful if the person in question is actually innocent. They have changed something in their detections lately and 100% innocent people are getting banned for up to 2 weeks and some of those are getting their accounts back and some are not. Would you like that account with all those supporter packs to be gone for 2 weeks in of a league that most people only play for 2 weeks to a month? And worry for that whole time that it will be permanent even though you didnt do anything? Seems pretty scary if you ask me. |

The likelihood most of them are innocent is pretty unlikely. Remember, we are talking about any violation throughout the history of the account. Just because you are ignorant of what caused the ban, doesn’t make you innocent. The exception being those caught up in guild bans. When a false ban does happen, you need to know what kind of actions may have caused it. If I go to a crafting service and get banned 2 days later, it would behoove me to get my ducks in a row and mention it in my appeal email. I agree it sucks, but that is the risk-price we pay for GGG to try and get a handle on botting.

Got Banned yesterday for "Useing thrid party" < I only used AHK which performed only 1 server-side action per button press!

On a side note, am I allowed to use filters? I haven't put any in because Im scared. But its allowed? Also i did a quick search in the forum to see whats allowed and whats not. I am un sure about the filters...
if you really didn't do anything wrong you will be unbanned. Took them a week or less to un ban me. No idea what happened and they didnt want to explain which is fine. no hard feelings. im glad they are hunting down bots and cheaters. Hope you get un banned. cheers |

" If you mean the Loot Filter, then obviously you're allowed to use it. You have an option to choose a loot filter in the game client itself, and also an online filter option on official web site. |
