so the patch is actualy a nerf

Because :
1) nerfed "time before cooldown" on rogues

2) more "time before cooldown" spent on opening chests (1s before, 3s now) so even if they are closer you can only open so many

3) scarabs can now drop from chests and that pretty sure means less chance for valuable things to drop

We waited 3 weeks for a fix that's actualy a nerf !

Lowering size and beefing rogue markers and reducing grand heist reveal costs could be massive buffs, depending on the numbers.

Most builds can plow through the escape route so I dont see a huge impact.
They nerfed the broken aspect. You should not be able to open 20 chests in a map.
Im still able to open almost all of the chests. There was 1-2 so far where I didnt even come close to it but every other one had practically every chest opened.

The only major thing I noticed from this patch is that heist areas are 10x smaller thank god

So either you are telling cute stories or you left out the most obvious change, small chests are a waste of time now.

On a semi strict loot filter 1/10 even shows up when i open them, so they arent really worth the time now....

Focus on the big chests not the small ones. Get all the big ones, hit any small ones with the remaining alert level.

This patch is a HUGE improvement. Are there still some issues - yes - but you not being able to pop every single chest during the countdown timer is NOT an issue. In fact, if you were to try to do that with 3.12.3 you would make less in drops than if you just did big chests only.

No Alteration orbs/Skills&Ascendancies from 0.1 that remain broken in 0.2/Drop rate of greater & perfect jewelers/Rhoas being locked behind a dex requirement
I'm happy with the patch. A few things:


1.) small chests are now mostly for decoration, not loot.

2.) Tibbs' (and other thieves) skill to open a small chest on the way out is close to useless due to point 1.

3.) I can't see a major loot difference between L78 and L83 regular heists (please let me know what I'm missing).

4.) I can open all big chests always.

5.) why do the thieves still need to spend so much time on opening stuff on the way in? Nothing happens, weather they do it fast or slow and they also can't fail it...so what's the point? Of course I understand that on the way out it makes sense.

6.) It's nice that talismans can drop with random annoints (better than nothing) but they only do so out of talisman chests. I think they should always drop anointed, no matter from where they drop. I always hated getting Talismans from Delirium or Blights.

7.) About Heist:

a) So we are actually playing the worst thieves the world has ever seen and will ever see as we practically can't pull a single heist off without getting caught steeling? alright...

b) We defeated gods and went to fight in parallel dimensions...and now I struggle with a few guards, trying to rob a heirloom....please don't tell Sirus.

Nah this patch has fixed Heist to where it should have been IMO, nothing wastes your time that much, the reward rooms are where its at and you get pretty decent XP on the way out of you fight out instead of just skipping everything.

Also the 17x longer layouts are gone, plus end icons are worth more tbh I can't think of anything in this version i don't like better.
the only thing we noticed is the much larger mob packs behind doors and in the rooms. Seems as layout got smaller, mob packs did not, instead they got more condensed... just an observation.

Heist not fixable, abandon ship...
