Real Money Auction House RMAH for poe

Care to elaborate?.. I'm just asking for the name of your country, and what you mean by 'its down to the gallows'.

drug use is a heavily penalized crime? I agree bad example, anyone who has taken a modicum of effort to learn knows that eliminating the black market eliminates the majority of negative experiences associated with something, and that is statistically sound.

now i'm not pushing for an RMAh, even though i also disagree that it is pay to win. pay to win is when money affords you something that is impossible to get any other way. it doesn't matter how difficult, or flip of a coin it may be - if it's POSSIBLE, to get it otherwise, it's not p2w.

just clearing things up. you're welcome ;)
How could a RMAH reduce the numbers of chinafarmers? It would be easier for them to sell their items. i think we would see more Farmers.

I think the best way to get away from Farmers is the "Own league System", there will be no Chinafarmers on ur own league ^^

it wouldn't do anything to farmers, but it would limit scammers, and dupers, and any number of other negative aspects of a black market.

Clearly you and I do not see eye to eye on the concept of PTW,

If you use chance to achieve an objective, than clearly it is chance. If you are paying someone to take those chances for you then you are paying to achieve the win surely? The purchaser is using a surfeit of real money to sidestep the statistical chances and potentially many hours of unsuccessful grind to attain an item.
Those who beat their swords into ploughshares, will plough for those who have not.
I think it will limit farmers actually, because they can no longer have their own prices.

That said I still don't see why it matters. Let the farmers farm and make a bit of money off of it if they want to, that's the beauty of the system; It doesn't affect you as a player whatsoever.

I vote that we keep cash and third party trades black market and implement a no tolerance policy on the violators who use them instead.

What's he winning though? The item? The point of the game is getting items. All the buyer did was ruin his own fun.

Higer place on ladder. Becouse he will much easyer level and kill monster than people that didnt have the money to buy the item.

There won't be a ladder since there's a reasonable level cap now.

That said, if you're so stupid that you'd buy an item you'll throw away when you hit 60, you deserve your pointless place on the ladder.

Ultimately if you take it that way, ladders are unfair to begin with. If you find an incredibly good item from a mob that allows you to be a lot faster than most people, does that make you a better player? No.
