Going with Diablo 1 again, since this game had so many awesome foes (names got linked with pics if someone haven't played DIablo 1).
1) Hell Knights - would be the tank type of enemies, strong but less agile. 2) Succubus - would be annoyance number 1 like in D1. Fast enemies who perform magic attacks. 3) Hidden - Enemies which can make themselves invisible, but are generally very weak 4) Serpents - Fast, deadly but very fragile when attacking them with swords. And much more, but those enenmy types I would love to see coming back. I would love to see Minotaur's! Get em to charge from off screen to keep you on your toe's! Apart from that I would enjoy a Ancient Egyptian Mythical Creature's area, could be like a pyramid that suddenly appeared or something with lots of Anubis, Athor, Bast, Horus, Sphinx and MUMMY's!!! ohh and lot's of traps to dodge :D

Some creatures from Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader are great. For example Snakebreeds, Wererats and similar.

I'd love to see different humanoid clans ruling. Like Nomads in the west, Skalgrims in the chilly north and Legionaires in the warm south. Something like that. Having bosses with titles aswell, like Kings or Conquerors inside their keeps and castles would only add spice to that awesome mix, any thoughts?

At least so far im seeding a lack of air assault mobs and I fill mobs the can come at you from under ground might be worth looking into :)
