How to make orbs - PoE version

After clearing church dungeon 1: 4 augmentation orbs. Don't ask how or why. Just RNG as usual. Hoping for better luck from church dungeon 2.

final currency gain stats from running a lowbie farmer from strand to church dungeon 2.

after calculating the gains and converting them into actual currency somebody will accept in trading:

15 augs = 3 alterations at vendor

38+3 = 41 alterations = 5 fusings at vendor with 1 alt left over

+ the following:

1 alch worth of scraps and whetstones (after allowances)
1 scouring
2 alchemy orbs
1 chaos orb

So thats close to 2 gcp gain. On a below average run.

I'll give it a try in hardcore, i already bought the needed gear, i end up with +58% IIQ and +10% IIR.
I'll post the results on a Act 1 run.
I will not attempt act 2 as i don't have enough survability with that IIQ gear, if this works well, i'll probably get a better set.

Edited the OP to put in clearer facts about how this method works.

i dont know but it seems like in lower levels the chance of currency being dropped just seems higher...

however i find levelling and farming for currency from act 1 to 2 so...boring.

i like to find new builds and level them up so for me all those orbs are just bonus
