3.11.2 Hotfix

don't know about proton but its working fine with wine-tkg-staging-fsync-vkd3d-git-5.16.r11.g7a5a98a1
So maybe proton use some older version of wine that's not compatible....
Please fix the Vulkan renderer issues where the FPS drops from 144FPS to 24FPS until you alt tab out and back again.

Even with the recent 'Technical Patch' I still experience these issues.

Please if you're spending your effort on things like:

"Fixed a visual issue with the Alabaster Seraph Helmet, where it could become discoloured in some environments."

Then you could focus on fixing this bigger things like this too please GGG?

It must be linked between Vulkan, G-sync and PoE. It does not happen in other Vulkan games such as Doom or Doom Eternal.

This shouldn't be happening with my spec.
Also worth noting the technical patch has made the DirectX client stuttery again. It dips from 144 constant FPS to 10 FPS and back again. The FPS graph is up and down like a yoyo.

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X @4.6GHz
RTX 2070 Super - 452.06 Latest Nvidia driver
16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C17 3600MHz RAM
144hz G-sync Asus RoG monitor

10% worse performance with this patch, on Standard, using DX11. Triple if using Vulkan.

Electricity from deco is back, light is better, but... big bug on celestial h/o, the whole light turned off in certain places.
Since several league the patches are full of bugs ... it's frustrating, I have the feeling to always have more bugs with each patch than solved problems :(
Same issue after update with this new version (the old version worked) in Linux Mint 19.2 (Intel Core i5 4570, AMD Radeon R7 250) - it crashes:

I can play with this https://github.com/stevenlafl/Proton/releases/tag/proton-5.0-7-alyx-2 using Vulkan, the experience is fine compared with directx11.

Running Fedora 32 x64 and a AMD FX 6300 with Nvidia GT 1030 (450.66).

The only difference I noticed is the horizontal black lines that appear when loading maps, except for that the game is running fine.

Please fix incompatibility with proton.
3.11.2 broke hearts of Linux players

We're working on it. :)

Thank you! <3

I have posted crash logs containing stack traces along with a few other people to the Proton github: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/58

Also, I can confirm that the "alyx" build makes the game launch but couldn't test it further yet, and it crashed while trying to log into my character so it's clearly not a perfect workaround.

EDIT: Played a whole map with the "alyx" build with no issues. The performance improvement with this new patch is MASSIVE all across the board!

for now you can play fine on standalone client with wine-tkg-5.16 maybe 5.17 will work too didn't updated yet.
Proton is broken at a moment with some steam integration in game.

No, it's not work. ;( After the successful patch, I tried with the stable (5.0.2) and the development (5.1.7) version of Wine, but the result is same.
