Blighted maps just don't... make sense.

Just spam meteor towers, and put some empower towers to cover them. You can keep the empower towers lvl 1, just to trigger the anointment bonus. You can put 1-2 glacial cage towers near the pump, or near choke points (to block doors), or some arc towers for fire immunes, but they are pretty much optional.

And run the blighted maps with one of the 3 cheapest oils. Personally I prefer the 30% slow combo, but if your dps is low, you can go for the increase tower dmg, or reduced tower costs annointments.

This should help. Good luck!

After all, map's IIQ and IIR are the only things that can actually improve the blighted chests' rewards, apart from the Lucky anointments

Are you sure about this, as those dont usually effect chest drops at all.

IIQ and IIR do not influence the chest content at all, just the drops from the monsters that clutter the area around the pump in the end.
That pump clutter is honestly totally out of line, lol... Makes me feel dumb for "complaining about too much loot," but trashy white and blue items aren't really loot, either, huh?

That pile legitimately follows my screen for half the map sometimes. GOD FREAKING FORBID there are Blight chests next to the pump, lmao.

Oh, btw, if you're using Arc, Meteor, Fireball, and Shock... You should use the annointment that gives 10% inc damage per type of tower used, no? Including Empowering itself, that's 50% inc damage on your towers, opposed to 25%. I was thinking about doing that, myself.

I didn't know about that new type and yes, it seems to be a good choice indeed. Since I also use seismic and stone gaze towers that should be 70% extra damage eventually...
