Stop protecting the perpetrators

Honestly, while I haven't seen any real evidence that GGG takes action against scammers (I only have their word to take, and the word of people that say contacting support is an option- this is probably something GGG wants to keep private and for good reason), I can see how allowing "name and shame" can end up being abused to a huge degree.

I wouldn't be surprised if I'm some kind of scammer list with my name spread by word of mouth because in Delirium I tried to buy a voices that was way too underpriced and the seller was actually baiting me into wasting my time and mocked me for being a terrible person for wanting to buy it at that price. Yes, that was dumb of me and I'm sure there is a strong argument that I was in the wrong here, but that's the kind of thing that happens. I imagine there are many people that would enjoy baiting people into doing something that they could easily make a thread with their name accusing them of scamming. Of course everyone will always put the burden of proof on the accused in these scenarios.
Wissle, I'm sorry that you were scammed. I also thank you for trying to help protect others from this same scammer. Unfortunately as you know, this is not an approach allowed by our hosts GGG. There have been a number of fine forum contributors here that have tried to explain this. The proper way to handle such problems is to send the information to GGG and let them handle it.
