The subreddit is out of control
" You're offended because you read something that you didn't like on reddit, and want something to be done about it? You have 2 options: 1) Don't go on Reddit 2) Report it and move on with your life Unfortunately cancel culture is running rampant and people can't handle things that make them uncomfortable and therefore want it removed. |

Tbh "Human Garbage" is pretty tame relatively speaking.
I mean if someone calls another player "trash" at a game, I dont think its literal. Its hyperbolic to evoke a response (which clearly you got baited) In this particular situation, for argument sake, if "human trash" isnt acceptable. What about "scum?" What about "toxic asshole?" What about "scamming degenerate?" I mean this is nearly impossible to police. The reddit mods are literally just people. Not to mention reddit itself is basically a cesspool full of individuals with toxic intentions, trolls, kids that dont know better (or anything for that matter), and staff that cant really control much. Its definitely whack a mole out there. Finally, and this is my own commentary and opinion, but wow, today's youth is insanely sensitive. I mean just move on, worrying about what everyone thinks and says, and trying to control speech is a task you will never complete. There will always be jerks and assholes in the real world. Just say "meh", block, ignore, dont read, fucking anything. I mean jesus are you going to call 911 if someone flips you the bird at a sporting event or on the highway? Tldr: Dont be a Karen "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" Well, it's every community's prerogative to consider different things "abusive". I know I'm blowing this way out of proportion, but I wouldn't give a crap about the subreddit and its kiddies if it didn't reflect on the game I care about. |

What exactly is the point of this thread?
Reddit can and will not allow developers to take control of subreddits for very obvious reason. They would risk corporations silencing opinions critical of their product. Something perhaps not an issue for this subreddit but definitly in general. If you feel like the term "human garbage" is offensive report it to the mods/admins or if it is illegal to the authorities. I believe that Reddit does offer many benefits over traditional forums. Just as they have many benefits over Reddit. Both are good for different things. I also do not belive that one comment by one user should dictate the opinion on an entire community. |

f*** reddit seriously
GGG only listens to reddit, not to these forums, well, yes but do not complain, just ignore reddit if you can not handle whats around there. its just yet another of these useless pathetic s***holes to internet nowadays offers which attracts every type of potentially mentally ill individuals you would never see in reallife - like flies, circling around a pile of dog poo, waiting to leave their mark. stay out of such forums, i do it and feels much better than caring anything or even wasting my time with reading textual representations of mental illnesses. " Better late than never to arrive at this conclusion. I understand wanting to have a better environment in the communities you visit, but let's not go crazy. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" I suck at getting my point across :o) From what I've written, it may seem that I want to influence the subreddit directly. That's really not what I want. I'm just looking for ways to prevent its toxicity from having an impact on the game. If this is an unfounded concern, this thread is indeed pointless. |

What exactly is toxicity and how would it impact the game?
