Ok so they are just super random, that's actually good to hear. I'd rather they be random then have to jump through hoops to get them. I'll just keep plowing through the difficulties to get at some better loots!

I notice alot of people spamming tons of orange loot, but I myself have never seen one at all. I am currently level 34. I am just curious if there is something I am missing, is there "boss" runs like in D2 that I should be doing to net me the better loots? Do I just need to keep going through the difficulties until I am maxed to see the better loots dropping?
Any info would be helpful!

It's actually supposed to appear gold. Go fix your screens color settings lol
That being said: Colors are NOT saturated enough on non-white-non-blue loot, They don't pop out enough but that might be mostly because of general color pallette for the entire game.

Uniques are brown/orange
Rares are gold
Uncommon are blue
common are white

Eh, I was close enough.
On my screen though I get a goldish (fool's gold) color for uniques and a yellow color for rares.
Doesn't change that the color saturation is a little low.

Color saturation be damned, theres a 100 more things to do then standardize the colors of the items xD
Also, Reitaaa, get one or two friends, play with them. You will see more yellow items then you will ever conceivably need.

ideally you want to increase both the rarity and the quantity. quantity especially as this will also increase the chance of decent orbs dropping. partying definitely helps as it should improve the quantity of drops, plus i guess theres a combined increase in rarity being used here as well.
as for the OP, i never saw a single unique until i hit lv 50, and then i got two in the space of 2 minutes. beyond that i've found three others soloing areas around level 60-ish range so they do appear. in almost all cases they've been drops from normal mobs (non boss), or from smashing breakables, and i have a fairly ok quantity/rarity %
